Day 1: The Master Angler School begins with lunch. The first day is spent going over knots, gear, and casting skills.

Days 2-5: This five day school emphasizes the development of versatile and imaginative casting and presentation skills to effectively meet any fly fishing challenge. The curriculum focuses on strategies for dries, nymphs, and streamers in various conditions from the morning rise to evening hatch, the techniques that the senior Clearwater guides recognize as essential to success. Our Master Angler instructors are all Certified Casting Instructors and excellent teachers. Their years of experience as professional guides and passionate anglers gives you an up close, personal experience with some of the country's top fly fishermen. The waters surrounding Clearwater Lodge are diverse and provide an endless outdoor classroom in which to learn and practice new techniques. Flat water dry fly fishing, pocket water nymphing, sinking lines in deep pools and clear lakes, as well as daily casting lessons are all part of the Master Angler program.
